What does an ADHD Coach do?

Excellent question; I'm glad you asked.
In coaching, we work together to help you get to know how your ADHD brain works and what your strengths and struggles are. You might also struggle with knowing what your goals are; we will figure out all these things together. Using my training and experience in being an ADHDer and having worked with ADHDers for 10 years, I will help you understand how to work with your ADHD instead of trying to fix or fight it, with the result that you will develop tools to handle whatever life throws at you in a kind and compassionate way. My business model is flawed; it's my job to work myself out of a job. I want you to be empowered to care for and advocate for yourself.

What a session looks like

I understand that navigating life with ADHD can be challenging, and I'm here to support you. Our first session will be a relaxed 30-minute conversation, where we’ll take a moment to explore how ADHD impacts your life and discuss how we can work together to help you feel more in control.

In our following sessions, which will last 45 to 60 minutes, we’ll tailor our time to meet your unique needs. We might engage in exercises to help you better understand your neurodivergence, or we could explore the executive functioning framework to see how it relates to the aspects of your life you want to improve. Together, we’ll set small, achievable goals that can guide you toward feeling more empowered and fulfilled in your journey as an ADHDer.

Please know there’s no pressure for extensive homework or lengthy daily diaries. I'm here to support you every step of the way in your journey to become an empowered ADHDer.

What does it cost?

First, if you live in the UK and are employed, self-employed, or freelancing, you can apply for funding for ADHD coaching through the government-funded 'Access to Work' program. To apply, please go to the useful links section on my website. If you struggle with applying for this, I can help you with it in one of our sessions.

Some companies also have a training or personal development budget. Ask your manager if they can use these funds to contribute to your coaching.

Also, if you refer a friend, you will both receive a 35% discount on your next session after their first paid session.
